I currently own a 2007 DC Pre-Runner sr5 and have been desiring 4X4 lately. Since its too expensive to convert what I have to 4x4 I have been considering trading in my truck for a comparable Tacoma 4x4. What I am trying to figure out is which exact model to get. I want the new one to have all the same options my current one has however I have some new rims/tires, TC UCA's, full Icon coilover setup and AAL, braided brake lines, etc that I was planning on installing soon. I guess the issue is some of the package have improved suspension and what not that I don't need but some of those packages also have stuff I want. Decisions Decisions......

I think everyone on here that bought the sport or off road and has or will be adding all the suspension stuff just like you. So I would get the truck you want, after all no matter which one you get your still paying a lot so might as well get the one you want, thats what I did.

Keep in mind, all TRD packages have the sport seats (which is enough of an upgrade for me), the TRD off-road also has the e-locker which can become invaluable on a trail.

Exactly. I bought my TRD for the seats and locker, I could care less about the upgraded shocks/coils as they will be replaced with a full OME susp. at one point or another.

Right now I am just trying to see if I can find a 4x4 with the options I want for around $25,000. I know its a bit of a gamble.
