    Hey guys,
I was wondering what everyone else had setup in their truck. Mostly cd players, if you could it would be nice if you could post a pic of your audio player. I want to see how it would look in my truck also. I ask this since our new tacomas have such a interesting dashboard setup! Thanks!

For a simple, but very VERY good head unit, I chose the alpine CDA-9884. It is fantastic. It has a permanent iPod cable so you can control it from the head unit. It also has 2 equilizers that arent fantastic, but I got my amplified speakers sounding amazing with them. There is a high pass filter for the speakers and a seperate subwoofer control in case you want to add a subwoofer later on.

I have an Alpine iDA-X200. It is a digital media reciever so it can't play cd's, but it makes up for that cause you can play from a jump drive or iPod. As many songs as it can hold. The functions on the HU are very easy to understand and work with. Overall I give it 5 stars. It is my favorite deck I have had.

If you want a pic from the truck lemme know.

My friend is a Best Buy installer. But we did it at his house and I just paid him. Win/Win. :) He got more money. I paid less.

u can do it urself, not hard and if u dont want to do any wiring they make wire harnesses so u just plug and play only thing ud have to do is loosen a few bolts disconnect and reconnect a couple harneses and tighten bolts
