Thinking of a different grill

i recommend black billet. Looks hot

 

My brother had an idea about making the right size bars out of wood and then using a fiberglass mold, then reinforcing it somehow. OSH also has some aluminum bars that are the right size and shape. It would just be a matter of piecing them together....maybe soldering or welding?

on ebay for about 140.00 range.....they have chrome too i think. i just got a stock style one for 70.00 shipped and it fits nice. perfect to cut up and not screw up your factory one

 

The company who made the grill for the SEMA truck is located not far away from where I live. They don't have email though, so I'd have to call them. But if and when I do I'll let y'all know what they did (if they tell me)

I'm almost to the part of mounting the screen on the back of the grill like a Satoshi. Using this writeup:

As soon as that's done and I figure out how I'm going to make the bars I will start taking pictures and start a how to thread.

 

If you figure out a way to make that retro grille, I'm going to mail you my grille and have you do it to mine!

 

Tomorrow I piece together the parts...we'll see how it looks first

BTW, I found some squarish shape plastic tubes used to organize wires on walls. They were cheap, don't require welding, and are the right size and shape.

Can't tell from pic is that a grillcraft ? if not it needs to be, and lose the bullbar, i like the black on white but the bar keeps the grill from "JUMPING OUT AT YA " interupting the overall black round affect. JMO . Where the headlights come from ?
