why would you not just do the work yourself? blacking out a black taco cost me a grand total of about $150 including window tint which was $90.

If you have 10 grand extra to piss away, send it to me and i'll do it in my driveway in a weekend.

Wow I think pimp my ride gave a bad rep to West Coast Customs, that program was a joke, West Coast Customs does some good work, even Chip Foose (who was mentioned above) has used them. They of course will charge more than it would cost to do it yourself, but its the same thing as any other service (car related or not)

Now if it was Will Castro....then I would say better do it yourself..

access to a paint booth, katzkin dealer down the street.

so you want a bsp truck flat blacked with a black leather interior? no problem.

I highly doubt the mongoloids at west coast customs are going to mold and produce a one off fully black interior.

They'll also plop a superlift on your truck and tell you it's offroad ready.

They'll either paint or dye most of the interior surfaces and purchase a katzkin interior kit for $600.

    next question?

I dunno west coast customs is great entertainment, I love that pimp yo ride show. There was a band that had a big ol econoline van for gigging, the obvious reason was to transport all of their instruments and gear. By the time west coast was done with it, there was a hot tub in the back, red velour couches inside, tvs everywhere, and not a square foot left to put a single piece of gear in. They rendered the van totally useless for the bands needs.

They also did up a pickup, put hydralics on the bed so it would "dump" but all they did was fill the bed full of speakers and televisions and put a giant sheet of lucite over the whole thing. The bed was 100% nullified for cargo transport.

    Good times.

Someone oughtta come up with a "where are they now" show and interview everyone who got one of their custom rides. I bet they all got jacked for the electronics and rims.

Every time I saw the show I thought it was better for who ever was the owner of the vehicle, to remove every electronic, rims etc etc, sell it on ebay, then sell the car and use the $ for either a down payment on a new car or a decent used car.

They have another show where you can really see their work. Although I'm sure they charge some big bucks, their work looks great.

If you have the skills to do the work yourself then great, if you don't and you are willing to pay somewhere else... who cares its your money & your truck.
