It's been fine. My truck is parked outside, though I usually try not to have it facing the sun.

Yes, I've had consumer grade cards fail after a period of time. Sucked it up and bought a Blackview branded high endurance card and it's been fine. I imaging it'll eventually fail, since it is a pretty rough environment, but it's already been going several times longer than the consumer grade cards ever survived.

Here's a video with rear cam footage through my window tint. I don't know what the tint is rated at, it came with the truck, but I'd rate it as medium to light tint. Also, to the right of the video, you can see what it looks like untinted. I originally cut a patch of tint off to have the camera look through, but scratched the window in doing so. So, I put the sticker base of the camera in the cutout area instead, but not well enough to keep it out of the image. But it works, so I left it.

I got the Thinkware Q800 Pro for review about a month ago. Hope to have my review up next week sometime.

Here is my Q800 Pro review. If you guys already have the F800 Pro, not worth upgrading. its almost the same, video quality is so similar, even tho its 1440p over 1080p it doesn't make a difference. If you don't have either might as well get the q800 pro because its $20 more only. If anyone is in the market for one, blackboxmycar gives my viewers $30 off orders over $300 with coupon code "USDASH30" or $10 off orders over $100 with "USDASH10".

Gotta second the recommendation for BlackBoxMyCar -- great customer service there. Always quick to answer questions, and they were really quick to resolve an issue I had with a faulty unit for a different vehicle.

The owner Alex reached out to me over 4 years ago and started supporting me and my channel back when I only had around 100 subscribers so he has been very helpful for me to pursue this hobby of testing and reviewing dash cams. So I like to help him out too, I probably wouldn't be getting companies like blackvue or thinkware reaching out to me these days without his help.
