I think it may be time to invest in some armor for your truck.

Oy! That sucks OP. I had my 16 rear ended 6 months after getting it and the whole insurance process was a pain in the ass. I can't image doing it 3 times in a 15 month span. I hope your claim goes through quickly and your back on the road soon.

Some years ago, at a H.O.G. Chapter meeting, we had an insurance guy giving a talk. He told us the most hit motor vehicle at an intersection was a motorcycle. BUT, the SECOND most hit vehicle at an intersection...was a FIRETRUCK!! And, the MOST common excuse was..."But, I just didn't see it!" HOW THE HELL do you not see a 40' long, bright red, or lime green TRUCK with several HUNDRED THOUSAND candlepower of FLASHING LIGHTS on it, and about a 180 Decibel SIREN and HORNS???

So this guy rear ended you and you weren't able to get a license plate number or follow him while calling the cops?

The Rough Country stickers explain all you need to know about that driver.

I had a dark blue Cherokee (XJ) that had a habit of collecting someone's front bumper. It was a POS and I used the insurance cash to mod. One of those mods was an investment in a hefty steel tube bumper.

Karma finally kicked in and the last guy that hit me was arrested. No issuance, and a suspended license.

Nope, just keeping extra distance due to the tailgaiting. I did have to slow pretty quickly during the last stop, but it was not an unexpected stop - all traffic was stopping for a red light, with folks in front of me already stopped, or almost. The impact almost suggests the other driver may have been trying to cut into the other lane, but being too close was not able to anticipate that I was going to stop.

The "culprit" above has the wrong kind of bull bar :) though the shapes of the dents strongly point to a light hoop.

Body shop did a quick look, says it looks to be over $10,000 in damages, and that is before even being able to get to the real meat of the job, which will require the job to be started (with the cover, can't see inside the bed area, and the tailgate can't be removed without other things coming off). It is estimated to take 3 weeks for this repair.

That's a big nope. Well, I tried to follow, but after he/she went over curbs and into parking lots, I decided they were not going to be worth risking my life for.

I also understand that statement may have been written in sarcasm font ;)

Hope everything works out. This is why I got a white one this time. My 07 was stolen and it was the 2nd Gen red. The new inferno red is more of an orange and most people seem to be colorblind To that particular color. My uncle owned a orange car back in the 70's and it was wrecked several times. Red is OK, but that tint of orange to it apparently camouflages it better than vietcong sniper.

I might be wrong about this but I think my insurance company charges higher premiums on red vehicles. They think for some reason red vehicles seem to be involved in more accidents according to my insurance.

Sounds a like how insurance companies love to double premiums on motorcycles with an "R" in the model name. Like GSX-"R", "R"6, CB"R"600...Probably with good reason on those bikes as there are a lot of douche canoes riding them.

Any frame damage? I saw a rear end post on here a while ago. The damage didn't look as bad but the guys frame looked like an accordion.
