I first got this truck for parts to make my prerunner 4x4. I then put it back together when I decided to v8 my prerunner. I used it as my daily driver for the big swap. A family member had to have it, and traded me for another king cab taco. Not to long ago they had an accident. They walked away with scratches and some bruises. I got it back and parted some of it out 2 make them some cash. My question is, Do you guys want to watch me make it a truck again?DSCN6900.jpg DSCN7215.jpg DSC00336.jpg In the photo above, can you believe the passenger window glass did not break. Actually the only glass that was damage was the windshield.

Frame is okay and I did get another cab Saturday. I am married now 4 years now, but I do get a hobby, don't I? I know l can make it run again. I do not think it will be pretty though. The cab I got is a 2x4. It is missing parts but has an engine. I get to find out if it runs or not. I will post a picture tomorrow.

Where did you buy it originally as a parts truck? What was wrong with it?

I got it near JBLM Washington state. It was wreaked by original owners daughter. He bought it with 508 miles on it. The first photo shows the condition of the truck when I got it.

Here is the donor cab. It is red and a little sad. The front core support is damaged on the left side (do I see a 01 to 04 conversion coming?) I have some spare parts for both styles. The frame is really rusty. I seen that some trucks had to have the frame replaced, but I haven't seen rust like this, but on the beach. Any way here it is.DSC00505.jpg DSC00506.jpg DSC00504.jpg DSC00513.jpg DSC00507.jpg DSC00514.jpg DSC00515.jpg

No, there's not enough truck left there to make it worth the time and expense.

When I first read it, I only saw the first pic, and I was like no big deal, even *I* might attempt that rebuild. Then I saw pic 3...

But honestly, it looks like a great donor truck if you like collecting rust... I mean, only you can see the whole picture, but it doesn't look like there's a lot there that is salvageable. You might need 2 or 3 more donor trucks, lol...

But since you're going for it - hell yeah I want to watch.

I like to watch. My wife even joins in sometimes...
