So I call Asheville to ask about Toyota alloy wheel fitments . I`ve got 16" Steelies. I talked to the parts guy ,he says come on down we`ve got a mod to fit. I drove all the way to Asheville (65 miles) ,plunk down $1024,+$100.00 mounting . I figured ,play safe, spend a little more, these guys will at least back up their product. Parts guy even gets a little huffy when I ask him "are you sure the modification with the tpms is really going to work? "(fu--k him). I wait two hours ,the truck goes on the lift ,& there ain`t no way wheels would fit with the steel wheel tpms. Arrrrrgh! Sevice manager shows up apologizes,he`ll give me the proper Tpms stems for cost,$275.00. Before I commit murder ,I drag my ass out of there. Morons. Sooner or later ,someone is going to get their sh--t together . . I also want the parts guy to eat a pizza & get heartburn! Schmuck!

I believe it was Jim Barkely. You`d think it would be easier to get 4 wheels. I see the same type of wheel on ebay now. But I still am a little confused. I forgot what steel specs are. You know by the time I get done with the tpms ,the wheels & tires etc ,that`s a lot of money ,for an old fart on a Military pension. As a matter of fact at Auto Anything they have a nice set of chromed steel wheels. I wonder if my tpms would work with an aftermarket steel wheel?
