Oh there will be some mods all right
Well, I figured I better pull the trigger on the blower motor before the parts sales were over. There was a handful of aftermarket options from as low as $60 to as high as $130. I figured if I could get close enough to that $130 Mark I would rather go OEM seeing as it was a fairly common trend in the reviews of the aftermarket blowers that they were louder than OEM and I definitely don't want that. I figure the OEM one lasted about 5 years so if I get another 5 years I will be happy with that. I kind of noticed a faint little squealing kind of high pitch noise on the test drive but it was so faint that I thought perhaps I was just imagining things because I was hyper alert on the test drive. Then on the way home from the dealership after trading my truck in it got louder to the point where it was a for sure thing. I wasn't sure what it was at first but I realized after turning the fan controls down to all the way to low or all the way to high made the sound go away and running it at the in between settings it came back. As I have been driving around it will randomly occur and go away and come back again so not only is the sound annoying but I'm sure it's on borrowed time. Thankfully the blower motor is extremely easy to change so as soon as it shows up I should be able to knock it out in about 15 or 20 minutes, hopefully.

Good idea but no, I already checked that last night. Took the cabin filter out and reached in to spin the blower motor to see if it wiggled or felt like something was wrong. Felt fine. I did notice the nut that holds the blades on had a light coat of rust on it so it's most likely the original in there

    Indeed, Triton is something different.

So mitsu motors is but isn't part of mitsu group.
Mitsu heavy industries (MHI)(part of mitsu group) was purchased by Ryobi.
We have 2 - 40" mitsu printing presses. Parts wear out a lot. Electrical issues are horrible.

If that's even a hint of indication how the mitsu vehicles are.
    I wouldn't buy one with Larry's money.

It is high enough mileage to be out of any and all warranties, it was bought from a Dodge dealership, and I specifically turned down any extended warranties so although there is a chance they might replace it, they might also just say deal with it and I don't feel like the hassle lol.

definitely easier to just fix it than waste time to end up fixing it yourself anyway
