this product good to clean my wheels/tires?

    anybody use this? i have a bunch left over from when i cleaned my engine bay. i know theres armor all tire/wheel degreaser but just wondering if this works too before i try it. :thumbsup:

    I had a '99 Xtra Cab PreRunner SR5 V6
    That's probably too harsh for your rims and will probably strip the protection off it. Why not just buy some wheel/rim cleaner?

    just wondered if anybody uses it. i always do my own wheels and tires after i take her to the car wash cuz they just slap some tire shine on top of all the grease.

    I like to use the same shampoo/liquid that I use on the paint to clean the wheels. I don't like using anything harsh on the wheels. If it's safe for the paint's clear-coat then it's safe enough for the wheel's finish.

    This is what I've been using for years in the shop on all sorts of wheels:

    A full on degreaser might be a little too harsh on the wheel's clear coat.

    Hitch and wiring, aux back-up light, rear strobe lights, radio and underseat sub.
    Super Clean will etch aluminum. Read the label to confirm.

    Hell no do not use that on your wheels lol. Go to the auto store and buy a cleaner specifically designed for wheels. I'm sure Mother's has some products for wheels.
