    I would personally rather the Coopers any way even if you take mkney out of the picture. But I'm just a noob.

    I'm running the Coopers on the FJ80. They are a good all around tire. Highway manners are good, they air down well, and do awesome on snow and ice. They do ok on mud, but the Nitto's would be better on a mud rig if you have the power to turn them (gears). I'm running the Nitto Trail Grapplers on the duramax and those are about on par with the coopers in everything but ice. On ice the coopers are magical. Or maybe it's just the FJ80, I dunno.

    I have the Nitto Trails on now & am very happy with them - super heavy tire though...

    Yes, they are. They aren't cheap either, but they seem to last a long time. The wifey is on the second set of them without a puncture (gravel road runner and tow pig mostly), but I think I'm going to put Coopers on it next time because of the price difference and similar performance.

    I ran 35 / 12.50 / BFG MT's on 8" wheels for about 15 years on my FJ-40 with zero issues. Mostly Rubicon type stuff. Started going to Moab a lot and switched to 10" wheels which made things way more stable on side hills and such. Less chance of popping a bead or beating up the rim lip running 8's, More stable but rims take more abuse and it is easier to de-bead (especially in snow when aired way down) with the 10's. I prefer the 10's, but have also widened my track width by about a foot front and rear also....more of the stability at Moab stuff.

    Well, grab a flight out to Philadelphia international Airport and I'll come pick you up and you can take a real close look at how my 35' fit right now. Then give me your opinion on a 13.5 wide tire fitment :p

    For shits and giggles I just ordered one of the 2.5 inch backspacing Procomp wheels.:D

    The crwall box will come first, I'm getting a driveshaft done for it now. Sizing up tires is next

    I'll be watching. I'm leaving for a couple weeks. When I get back I may order a set of surplus 37s and start collecting parts to make the damn things fit. 255s to 37s seems like a reasonable jump

    X3 on the STT. I ran them a long time ago and liked them alot. Just gotta keep them rotated or they seemed to wear funny. They are really quiet on the hwy too.
