    Actually I tend to hit my diff skid on shit at the dunes. I've thought about cutting out that crossmember but it would fuck up my front bumper and I don't hit it on stuff much surprisingly. Usually when I do hit it rock crawling I just change my line a little and I'm fine.

    My skids are tucked so close that they actually rub on the diff mounts so they can't go any closer... My front bumper approach angle is pretty good too. I had Ben design the bumper without a front mount winch so the whole thing is tucked up as much as possible. You can ask rctoy when we ran Fins N'Things in Moab I was the only one of us to have a good enough approach angle to not rub on the steep drop in this vid and the 4runner with us was even on 38's!

    I have been playing around with this idea and plating one straight section for the bottom of my bumper ( which would also get a face lift to take advantage of the new clearance ) and go straight to the diff. This would give a nice stream line slope from the front section of the bumper to the diff section of the skid plate...

    On Summit looking at steel wheels.

    Anyone know what lug nuts and studs I need for steel wheels. I want to at least get the lug nuts ordered with the wheels.

    I have a set of the 1/4" spacers from Wheelers on order already, pretty sure I need those for the steelies.

    Before anyone asks, this is all so I can mount some 31s. ;)

    If we do a little soul searching, I think we can all agree that 37's look best on a full size truck.

    I would use the analogy of clown shoes to best reflect the image of 37's on a Taco.

    I will qualify this by stating that if one is achieving functionality with 37's then, looks aside, well done!

    Damn I wasn't expecting wheel studs to cost me $300. My wheels are costing that much. At least until I can afford a set of double beadlocks
