I don't but 2 pictures on my computer at the moment.. but I'm running 37s on my taco and haven't trimmed an inch. I'm running a 6in pro comp lift with es9000 rear shocks. My bilsteins are set at .86" right now. I have full turning capabilities. The only time I scrub is in reverse at a certain angle.. and on deep holes. Obviously I didn't build mine to off road (learned my lesson by putting my z71 in a pond) just to show off. Stock gears at the moment, but hoping to have 4.56s within the next 3 months.

Nothing wrong with a mall crawler if you recognize it as one. With that being said you sure you don't want to go with 4.88's. I'm planning on 5.29 with my 4 banger.

I'd stick with 4.88s so you can gear the front if you do a 4x4 conversion. But I hate spending money twice

well with 4x4 I will have low range and can work with 4.88. In 2wd I'm in high range and not sure how the 2.7 will handle 37's(that's the thought at least). This is mostly for offroad where it will matter. Probably should go with 4.88 though.

In 2wd, I haven't had a lot of issues with 4.88's and 35's. Flat ground hasn't been an issue yet but I normally put in 4lo soon as I am at up around 9-10k elevation. Hills would be painful to start on.

If you don't ever plan on doing a 4x4 conversion (kinda dumb not to if you wheel enough to justify the 37's) then I would get 5.29s. If not then 4.88.

What would I do without you guys. Thanks for the advice. Guess I just figured it would be a few years before 4x4 so I could run 5.29 for a while. But I guess it makes sense to be patient and stick with 4.88 so I don't have to tear apart the diff twice

A few years and within the next few months is a lil different. 4.88s and 37s will not be fun on the street. I couldn't hold out a few years. Sometimes it's ok to spend money twice. If I said I wanted to lift my truck 3" and someone told me I could leave my truck stock, save up and sas it in 5 years with whatever size lift I wanted I would say "or I could spend a few hundred dollars on 5100s and an aal, lift my truck 3", save up and sas it in 5 years 1 month."

A setup rear diff from ECGS is only a couple hundred dollars. You would spend that twice if it's the only thing you change when you go 4wd. Over a few years, you're talking fractions of pennies a day. Hell by that time someone will probably make 5.29s for the front diff and you can tell everyone to suck it on not spending money twice. Haha

I'm with Gideon. Go 5.29's. I would atleast. After you order them, throw a quarter in a jar every day until you have the stuff to 4wd it and then you'll have enough to get new gears.
