I just pushed it back. A couple screws went in, a couple didn't. Hasn't been an issue yet

I didn't assume anything. I read and comprehended what you wrote. I don't see how you tub a flat firewall and/or replace it with another piece of flat metal and call it a tub considering the literal definition of the word is " a round, open container ". The firewall is also part of the inside fender well which would be replaced when "tubbing". Mark is the only person I've seen who has tubbed his inner fender well and I don't know if it's even in this thread. Everyone else is just cutting out a small piece of the firewall and welding in a new piece. Also you don't need to cut the firewall to fit 35s. I've been running 2° caster, 35s and a much wider stance for a few years now and I did a minimal cmc and just beat over the pinch weld and hit the firewall in a few places. It's really very easy to fit 35s on this truck.

    Check out the build
Maybe it's just semantics then, since the photo of referenced isn't "tubbing". Whatever that was it's what I want to do. My 35's clear, but I'd like more room around the tire. I don't want to derail this thread to fitting 35's either.

Well a buddy of mine told me his neighbor is selling some 37's cheap so I'm going to look into it. I shouldn't have to do much cutting as high as I'm sitting. CMC most likely. Maybe add some caster.

Hey guys, hope I'm not posting out of the post topic but I need help and the proper listing areas aren't as crowded. I got a TRD intake of TW and was missing some parts: MAF Sensor gasket and a 6mm lid bolt Let me know if anyone can help finding them.

About 87k mi, TRD, 4:88's, auto, low miles on build with no off roading! I enjoy building it more than have time to use it! engine stock, what do you guys thing? $22,000- 22,500 fair?2016-01-15 17.32.01.jpg 2016-01-15 17.31.25.jpg 20150625_195058.jpg

I think that's fair. I had a cash offer of $25K for mine, and I foolishly turned it down. The more modified they are, the smaller the potential customer base... You, however, are lucky that you are in a great market for offroad cars. I would list it on RDC for sure- http://www.race-dezert.com/classifieds/

That's a sweet site! There are some nice builds for sale... you can find stuff you don't see every day on there. You still have your taco?

Wait, so you been giving people advice on how to clear 37s for articulating purposes and your truck has never even been off-road? Hmmmmmm

    Was i bragging about articulation?
Been off road plenty.. but I've had truck a lot more capable than my Taco so a big truck like a second gen with 37's is like a mid size truck with 33' or 35's. Most of my old builds were SA not IFS. Just because I answered questions and try to be helpful doesn't mean I'm trying to say I know it all. Hope your tub job turns out better, there's no competition here. I built this truck for fun more than anything
Edit: IFS without mt or lt wount get you any flex either way....
