I have  and I think I want the 4.56 for the added strength.
Even looking into the cryo treatment for that little extra.
I'm fine with giving up some performance on the hwy for the added strength for the trails.
95% of my miles are trails and the trip to the trails no commuting.
And then again I might do 4.88s but 4.56 is what I'm thinking and a 60 in the rear.
The bigger axel will be one of my next mods and I'll put in a front locker at the same time.
As soon as I finish dialing in my wheels and tires I'll get them, fit them in the rear and figure out the width for the new rear.

    That's how I'm starting.
    -Wheels and tires
-Lock the front, 60 in the rear
-Rear trimmed and ready for 37s
I be running 4.56s with my current 33s for a bit.
Then I'll move onto the front.:sawzall::welder:

    You have an awesome truck.
Do you need that much backspacing cause of your rear shocks?
I saw Icon has a 32# beadlock wheel 17x8.5 4.75" backspacing, doesn't have a rock ring but is dot approved.
    Not too expensive.
Also curious what u think of them, I'm looking at them for myself.
I'd pair them with the Toyo MTs 37x12.5x17.

    Thank you for the compliments!
so, those new icons are really cool for what they are but I personally am not a fan of the styling and I REALLY love my aggressive BS wheels because the stance is just so killer. As is the stability and wide track width. Yes even my 3.5 BS rear setup on 35’s had basically milimiters of clearance till the tire touches the rear shock. So yes, 3.5 or more is required for pretty much any shock relocation I’m aware of. And remember to consider that your lighter icon wheel and the TOYO Mt will weigh the same as my 44lb beadlock and lighter 37” tire just keep that in mind. I also had to go the classic beadlock look route because I absolutely love the way they look

Mounting is going down, still a lot of other work to do but this is fun. I’m pleasantly surprised these only weigh 75.2lbs. For an aggressive 37” MT that’s pretty rad. The bead/sidewall feels super thick, it’s just a hair over 3/4”

Did you lube the back of the tire bead? I got mine to seat no prob with very little air pressure like 20psi

These are steel wheels with aggressive backspacing. 3.5 BS. 17x9 -38 battleborn beadlocks, my rear shock relocation might just barely touch this tire at full bump we’ll see. Might need like a .25” spacer back there

For anyone wondering a $225 steel beadlock weighs exactly the same as a $500 alloy one
i even got 1 of my 5 beadlocks on clearance as a blemish, for $170. Battleborn also has coupon codes you can find. So 5 beadlocks cost me about $1200 oh and also these cheap steel beadlocks weigh the same as a KMC alloy $500 beadlock with 3.5 BS. I know because o specifically bought one and weighed it

I have 3.5 bs scs wheels, and I rubbed the shit out of one of my rear 2.5x13 ADS shocks.

I'm running 1.25 spacers on the rear now.

Right, that’s why I have a .75” spacer currently in the back to clear my 35’a at the shock

I was running a .75 at first, from bora. Are you running skinny 35s or 315s? And are your shocks 2.0 or 2.5?

Thank you! I’m really hoping to not need any small spacers for the rear but if I do I’ll get some ultra thin ones machined or something.

If you go to 37s you will need most likely 1.5, Id imagine because of them getting wider when you air them down

I’m currently getting 37’s on the truck and I’d hate to add a 1.5 spacer but I will if I have to.

I mean at this point, if you want 37s you gotta do what you gotta do. And wheel spacers aint shit compared to upgrading the steering rack. I personally would also worry about shock fade faster with the weight (if you plan on going anywhere in a hurry)
