Who owns a motor home? Thoughts, tips and recommendations are welcome.

We started looking at renting one for a summer trip, but holy crap they are expensive to rent. So now we are contemplating buying a used one. It would be fun to have for summer road trips and tailgating in the fall.

I'd like to hear from people that have one: the good, the bad, etc.

I live in a HOA area in the city, so I would have to pay to store it which is a little annoying, but not a deal breaker.
