    Replaced the PVC Valve/Rubber Grommet this weekend on my '03 3.4, and wanted to provide some more pics of the Throttle Body/ECM Motor. I'm a Toyota Tacoma nerd and always like trying to figure out the numbers I see on some of the parts (Pic below).
    The TPS sensor is stock (89452-35030). Below that number is 3A23.
    What's interesting to me is that the number stamped on the throttle body is 3A24.

    On the APPS issue of not being able to buy it separate. (F'n Toyota thanks alot) I believe it's possible to use a 2005+ gas pedal with the APPS built into it. I've been studying the 2 FSMs. It should work but I need a 2005+ gas pedal to confirm it.

    Still looking for one? I'm done hoarding parts and willing to sell the authentic one I got from PartsGeek.

    Hey JasonLee, I'm still looking for one if you still have it. Or if not, would someone be able to find one? PartsGeek is sold out and Advanced doesn't look like they have one. And also, is there a pdf to download to be able to adjust it for idle correctly, etc? Thank you.

    @Nicklovin - Yes, your 2001 is a 3-pin Throttle Position sensor.

    Hey all, I replaced the throttle position sensor and it didn't fix the problem. Does anyone have any suggestions?

    Edit. I think I fixed it. What I did was install it normal like the old one and then opened the throttle body fly all the way a few times, almost like revving it all the way but without the engine running. Anyways, It seems to have fixed it and I was able to keep the check engine light off.

    Everything but the driveshaft. B03A - 410
    The 4 character codes like quality lot numbers. Counterfeits will not have those numbers. They may be based on hex codes in a way to pack 4 characters into 2 bytes in of binary values. I've not seen a character value higher than F (16) used in these codes.

    Have you learned anything else about this? Hall sensor setup would be ideal.

    just ordered the Aisin part number C70121324701AIS...from Advance Auto for $46. My TPS is bad, I called the dealership with part number 89452-35030 and after a quick "hang on" and some whispering, he said nope that part number doesn't exist. Pretty sure it is and that they just want to sell the entire throttle body.

    Yes and no. It's possible but there was an issue with the voltage signal being a touch higher. Haven't done enough research yet. Kinda got put on the back burner.
