Yeah, that is correct! It's like i have to give it extra gas and hold on to the clutch a little bit longer to get out of 1st gear.

i would say get the rear brakes adjusted so that they have just a bit of drag.........sounds like the problem to me. also..............maybe switch the clutch/gear oil over to synthetic if you havent done so yet.

Clutch fluid was replaced actually a year ago. Front breaks are at 2mm (they recommend to replace at 2mm) and rear breaks are at 6mm (they recommend to replace at 1mm). I think my problem could be that my front brakes are taking a dump, what do you think? To get them replaced they are going to cost me 222.95 at the dealership. Won't any brake machine shop do? (anywhere cheaper?)

i'd go somewhere other than the dealership. there are some places advertising for $99 per axle.....may be worthwhile to check out one of those places if you arentwanting to do the brakes yourself.

My '04 TRD Prerunner 3.4L Auto does the same thing and has for the 22,000 miles since I've owned it. I too have checked all mounts and my trans is in good working order. My advice is to just drive it and forget about it. Just adds character right?

Check the slip joint on the driveshaft. Sounds like it's binding.

Forget what I said. I missed the last page.
It's probably a brake dragging from what you describe.
