^^^Thanks for posting up the pics. They do look like they're pretty tall. I guess its because the rack needs to be sort of a universal fit. I really wish the Invisaracks that I had on my old Titan would fit. I contacted Bak Industries, and no plans for a tonneau cover w/ rack system for the 2016's yet either

Thanks erg801. I did not know that you could cut down the height on the Tracrac's. Always thought it was one piece for some reason. Excellent info

No problem I didn't either but I know when I found it I saved it somewhere!

And I also saw the Tracrac mounts are available now as well for the 2016+ Tacomas with the bed rail system.

I decided against the ladder rack. If anybody wants to buy my Thule adapters, I'll sell them for $50 shipped. They were only out of the box for about an hour.

I use the rack for my 14' race paddleboard. After putting the rack on I realized it was a huge PITA to get my board up there. I think a lot of had to do with how high the rack was. I also didn't like how it looked. I decided to go with the OEM roof rack. I don't really like how it looks either, but I feel it keeps the stock look and can be folded away when not in use. I had a Grand Cherokee before the Tacoma and it was pretty easy to get the board on top of the Jeep, I'm hoping it will be about the same with the Tacoma roof rack.

Has anyone trimmed this year's xsporter for the 2016 Tacoma? Curious if it can get both below and above the cab.

Was wondering how far does the rack goes down on the bed? Can show take a pic of how the rack looks like when it's complete down?

Hate to bring up such an old post but id rather do this than create a duplicate thread. By chance do you still have the racks and could get those pictures
