*So, this issue has happened before but I paid a mechanic to figure it out.*
So, i have a tick/click sound coming from the front hub/caliper area. This has happened before and it drove me crazy trying to find what it was. The sound is a type of tick tick/click click of sound and happens when the tire/wheel rotates....thing is that it goes away when I apply the brakes. Logic says that it is something in the wheel or caliper that makes a sound on each rotation...but I have not been able to find ANYTHING.
Asking for help here cause I don't want to pay a mechanic again to find what it is.

What did the mechanic find the first time?

A loose wheel bearing can cause weird noises down at the wheels. Are the rotors grooved? Rusty? Check the brake hardware, make sure the pads are secure

Don’t the pads have a clip that ticks once the pads are worn to a certain level.

So, I have visually found what is making the sound. It's the top sidenof the pads moving and making contact with the top pin. I cannot see what is making the pad shift.

I my rotors are new and do not believe these to be the issue. I have had them since August and do not feel any vibrations coming through the pedal or steering wheel, when I brake.

No. I added some old clips I had, to the top pin.
