New here as you can see and looking for some troubleshooting help. Just bought an 06 TRD and a noise just started from behind the glovebox. Behind it there's a large black case where I believe the AC filter and other components are located. Attached to that case is a much smaller rounded case on the left side. This smaller case is where the noise is coming from. Hopefully I'm describing it clearly and someone can tell me what that case is/does.

Also, the AC works fine and blows cold but only on high. The other 3 settings don't blow any air out. It was doing this before the noise started. Thank you for reading and any tips that follow. Glad to be a Tacoma owner again!

Awesome thank you! Never had an issue with it when I had my 01 but sounds like a common thing. Will try those out
