The three of us (dog, girlfriend, me) have a 4 day weekend coming up (Sun-Wed). The weather looks as nice as it can over the coming week and we want to head out of Portland for most of it.

Any recommended sites in either Tillamook or Mt Hood? It looks like Tillamook might be our best bet, as most camping in Mt Hood appears to open in late May?

Ideally near some body of water, whether it is river or lake.

Also, I will take and PMed secret spots with me to my grave....

Tillamook state forest is prolly a better bet. Most camp spots around Hood are still under several feet of snow for a few more months.

I didn’t even think about snow. Now I feel like an idiot...
