Rocky uphill is going to be a no-go in a stock truck. I tried it this June starting from the bottom and only did about 2/3 before turning around and going back down. Added some nice dents to my brush plate (man I need a front skid), plus used my sliders. The rest sounds good.

    Cedar Tree

You can do the lower part, including the big rock in the middle. The left side of the trail got carved out more and is almost disappointingly easy. I would still only advise somewhat experienced drivers to try it. It takes a bit of finesse and planning.
The upper part rock garden you at least need sliders for one part, and a lift does help keep you above the rocks. All depends how much you like to clunk through.

I was up two weeks ago. They cleared the rocks out of the top section.

This is the section they cleaned. The lower part has some bigger (ish) rocks but a good spot will keep the carnage away.

I might be down for the 29th. Would like to get to cedar tree again, without snow, and having to chain the crew who were stuck down in there!

Mud is good. snow is bad.

Rocky uphill was in two parts... the first part was the video I posted. The second part is where you and Jammdog opted out, others turned around, and I was the only one to make it as far as I did before taking the u-turn back down. I think you and James watched from the top.

The other group went from the top down. The pic I just posted with Anton in it is the very top.
