    Your right, I just use the gradient in quick mask mode and it can be hard to get it just right. I might try again after class today if no one else does.

    Hmm, interesting pictures but the one thing I will admit I don't see at all is any affect of "miniaturization." I just don't see it... everything looks normal to me, which it is... o.0

    It's not the size of the relative objects per say; it's the arrangement of the dept of focus.

    A tilt-shift lens mimics the same type of blur for the out of focus objects that a macro lens does. If you don't see it with Viet's post above then I'm guessing you might have a hard time with optical illusions... what do you see? A vase or two faces? Most people see one or the other. You either see miniature cars, or you dont!
