    Has anybody done or know anyone that has done a timing chain to timing belt conversion on a 2rz or 3rz motor? are there noticable differences? is it worth it?

    X2. The belt will require changing. The chain will last forever. It would be taking a step back engineering wise.

    I agree - it makes no sense to go from belt to chain ...

    ... and (as far as I know) there's no such conversion kit / parts available.
