Hey guys, I just bought my 05 double cab SR5 4x4 yesterday and I was going through stuff to make sure it is all taken care of and I noticed that the timing belt was supposed to be changed at 90k miles and mine has 125k on it and so i was wondering if that was something I could do myself, I have a pretty mechanical backround and i have done most all of my work before but was told by a buddy of mine the dealer charges 5 hours labor and I just wasn't sure if it was something that I could do. What do you think?

Some stuff. Not a lot, just some.
You have a chain, not a belt. I wouldn't worry about it.

So the consensus is not to even worry about changing it? That just confused me because the maintenance guide said timing belt. thanks guys
