    how ofton are you suppose to change the timing chain on a 99 2.7 engine.

    Broken and scratched tailgate, cracked rear tail light lens, coffee stain in driver seat.
    What proper maintenance, and sensible driving, I don't think you have to at all.

    I had a '99 Xtra Cab PreRunner SR5 V6
    Yeah, I think it's a non-replaceable item, but that doesn't mean it shouldn't need to be adjusted though.

    Yeah, no replacement interval specified, but if I had the front cover off on a high mileage engine to replace the water or oil pump, I would replace it for peace of mind.
