    This is gonna sound kinda stupid... but can anybody post pictures of their 1st gen. tacoma with tinted windows? i live in georgia and as a present my parents are letting me get my windows tinted (finally). i have an 02. and i just wanna really see what they look like with different tints? i dont want mine too dark as to where i cant even see outta the damn thing at night but i dont want it so light people can see up in there.. ideas? suggestions? pictures? help?

    Rear windows have factory tint only. Fronts have "matching" 25% tint. ZERO visibility problems, day or night.

    I can see out the sides fine at night, the back is like wearing some oakleys at night. But I am used to it so it doesn't bother me.

    Darkness allowed on tint varies from state to state. If you're coming from Georgia check this out:

    These days I try to keep my tint as close to legal as possible just so I don't give the police any excuses to pull me over. I had around 30% in a state where only 50% was allowed and it was close enough so I never got messed with. My buddy used to have 5% until he got pulled over and was forced to painstakingly peel the tint off. For privacy when camping I tinted my old camper shell with 5% and it was way too much. I had a hard time seeing out the sides and the back when driving because of darkness, of course, but also inside glare.

    But I agree, tinted windows look great and is a cool mod. I tint all my windows. Hope this helps.

    Just got my front 2 tinted to match the rear. If I were to guess id say it's about 20%. Plus it was a lot cheaper than having to get them all tinted.
