Tinting the front Toyota emblem

Wait, did you know the Pro grill has a clear window for the sensor to sit behind? it’s below the “Toyota” and in the lower center of the grill. Look at people’s pro grills, you will see what look like little windows in the grill openings.

I don't wanna tint the actual lens cause it'll dim the output of the light. This guy cracks em open, paints it,a boom

 

Fairly understated from this pic. But I didn't want it to be all black, just tone down that chrome

Do you mind what kit you used? Regular tint? Or that vinyl tint for tail lights?

Vinyl tint. Been on 1.5 years, still looks decent. A few bubbles starting around the edges, but I'm terrible with vinyl.

When I first applied it I didn't have issues with tss. I have since opted to have it switched to off on start up. Don't like tss.. Sorry in advance to the nancys around here.

 

Nicely done. IMO 2020 sr grille is the best looking tacoma grille up to date. If i had extra money i would definetily get it, too bad its like 500$ here. They want 180$ just for the bezel...

 

SX trim all day dude! 800 bucks and you get black emblems, black interior trim, that grill, and the dark gunmetal sr5 wheels.... Pretty dope setup with 4x4 v6

 

I’ll have to look into this. I went a different route with my lights….for now. It’s subject to change though
