Kumho and Yokohama get pretty good ratings over at tirerack.com.

Cooper Discoverer S/T better tires at half the price of the others.

Depending on where you are in Jersey I can even tell you where to get them.

I've got wide baja tires and they are pretty good on and off road.

I have the Mickey Thompson Baja MTZ tires. They perform and look killer. A little expencive, but worth it.

I have used Bridgestone most of the time - great traction, great treadlife, quiet, and reliable. The next tire for my truck I get will be the Firestone Destination A/Ts. They are rated the best, and since I don't have a Ford ExploDer I should be gravy! ;)

That being said, I have had good experiences with the Yokohama GeoLanders, Goodyear Wrangler Silent Armor, Cooper S/T, and General A/Ts.

My next set to replace the garbage OEM Dunlops will be the Avon Rangers in 275/70-16's they are rated #2 out of 60 tires in allseason category. They get great write ups too! Thats good enough for me!

Holy thread revival, Batman! You realize this thread is over 3 years old? If by now he hasn't bought new tires, he's riding on his rims right about now!
