So to start i have an 08 trd off road with stock suspension.

first question is what is the biggest sized tire that i can step up to with out having rubbing issues on the factory 16" rims?
-from what i have found so far im under the impression that the biggest that i can go up to is 265 75 16R, now i understand a 285 is well outside of possiblity but i would like to squeeze the biggest tire i can fit on the stock set up for now.

The next thing im looking for is some good tire options. originally i was thinking of going with duratracks. but now that i sit down and think about it i have put about 43,000 miles on my truck and have never gone off road so i may be better off getting a tire more geared to highway use and has a longer tread life. so what im asking is what tires have you guys had that were geared more on the street side but werent complete failures on mild off-roading.(i would like to keep the possiblity of off-roading open lol).

Thanks for ur opinions in advanced especially on a topic that has been beaten up and down on this site.

OME 3" lift with 885 coils. OME Shocks with TSB 1.5 AAL. 285/75/16 KM2s. XD Hoss 16" wheels. DDM Tuning 6000K HIDs, H10 6000K Fogs. BHLM. Debaged. 20% tint on front windows.
The 265/75/R16 is as big as you can go with stock. Ive heard all but good things about those Dura Trac's, Nitto Terra Grapplers are a good choice if you are looking into another Tire. That's my 0.2
