    I currently have a 3inch spacer lift but it a cheap temp life so I can fit bigger tires because I'm getting bolt on kings with ext travel with camburg ucas. What is the biggest tire I can go with and also with minor trimming.

    Id say 265's if you don't want major cutting

    That's what I have and it seems small I'm just saying no major cutting I was thinking 285s

    Some 265s look small some dont. I have Duratracs in 265 and I don't think they look. I'll never go 285 myself.

    I had to add a 1" body lift to clear 285's at full compression.
    I have 2.5" susp. lift as well.

    Even with the body lift... had to do some clearance work too.
    ie: pinchweld flattened, and some trimming.

    Without the 1" BL... the firewall will need be modified (tub'd).

    You likely can get away with less for street duty.
    But not the case during full compression/travel and off road flex.

    additional suspension height will not correct for
    the clearance necessary to fit a 285 during full compression.
    Tho' for street duty... exaggerated suspension height could be used.

    I recommend a 1" body lift or tub the wheel wells/fire wall
    if going to a 285/75/16 ^

    read this for a better understanding

    ^ applicable to 285's and taller

    I now have 295's...
    and they are demanding more modification for proper fitment.
    I did get them to clear for most street and lite off road duty,
    but more work needs be done for full compression clearance.

    So should I get a 275 tire?? Cause 285 sounds like a pain in the ass

    I'm getting kings in front ext travel with ucas and also king piggy backs in the rear if that helps I just need to know what tire to buy with out regretting on getting a bigger tire

    I'd recommend sticking with 265/75/16's...
    at least until yer yer unconcerned with hacking things up to fit 285's or larger

    don't think 275's are any taller then a 265... tho' maybe wider
    could be wrong... not gonna look.

    I'd say 265's unless yer willing to put some time into it.
    those will measure nearer 31.5" X 10.50" when mounted

    Most 285/75/16's will be nearer 32.5" X 11.50" (mounted).

    A 255/85/16 could be a good option for a tall narrow tire (33 X 10.50)...
    but it would still be too tall to stuff without a BL or fire wall clearance

    * the wider tire width at 11.50" has more fitment issues.
    a 275 is also 11.50" in width I thought... so double check on that

    how much hacking is there like is that bad?
    And Im planning on going to a goodyear mt/r tire (my current is a hankook mt 265 75 16)

    If you wheel it, you're most likely gonna have to hack metal. Stick to 265/75/15 and it ya wanna beef it up, add wheel spacers

    how does adding wheel spacers "beef it up" :confused: :notsure:

    Wheel spacer adds more problems it looks good but more stress on alot of things

    I know many people on here with wheel spacers that abuse their trucks on the trail and have had no problem. Plus I've got em too
