tire creak? noise? wtf

    my setup procomp 5836 18" wheels wrapped in nitto TG 285-65-18 and i got this wierd a$$ creak noise coming from pass front tire so i was like hmm went to the car wash sprayed down my wheels and noise went away now its back? any possible ideas what it might be its annoying as hell!! :mad:


    ok to make the story short i got that wheel warranted so it was replaced well it happend again to another wheel so they are buying back all my wheels so i get to order a new set! whooop whooop any ideas people?

    i would say that your tire/wheel package isnt the prob.just a guess.i would be looking in at your suspention set up.maybe cv joint???it doesnt make sence with the car wash thing.but hey ive been wrong before.good luck.

    Sounds like you have dirt or some crap in your front spring seat. Hit it with a presure washer really good, and it should go away.

    mystery solved!!! procomp 5836 wheels have a chrome lip that is "pressed on" some how mine got loose so that is what the creaking is coming from now to get my wheel warranted new mission

    FUK the saga continues! so i got that one wheel replaced 0 charge and was fine and dandy now just a 2days ago the noise has moved to another wheel! O M G procomp whats up with your wheels! this sucks
