Keep in mind these are now discontinued. If you're lucky enough to find a set between stores though, they're like $35/tire

Does anyone have any idea if any of the tire manufacturers are adding more options like more C rated tires in 265/75/16? I’d even take a good SL tire if the tread is aggressive enough. As stated in previous posts I don’t do anything that would require an E load tire and would like to keep the weight down. I’m just asking because I’ve been out of the tire hunting process for a while but am ready to get things started again. My hunting land is full of slippery and sticky red clay and soft mud. My factory GY tires are filled full of clay before I get 40 feet into my property and I’ve got to get some tires that clean out better. I’m in no danger of getting stuck but am sliding off some hills in some of the rougher road sections because my tires are full of clay. I’d like to stay as light as possible and even though it looks like Duratracs are the best option I’d still like a newer hybrid tire (or aggressive AT) that is also relatively light weight so I don’t notice any acceleration loss (or as little as possible). Thanks again in advance for all the great TW minds and opinions out there!

Do you have a lift on your truck? Any rubbing with those tires?

no lift all stock, no rubbing no noticeable power or mpg loss. so far i have 5K on them and it looks like they evened out with the side at 12/32 all around running 36/34 psi. i am very happy with them i dont see any reason not to up size.

Update: General is releasing a new hybrid AT to replace the Grabber AT2. It’s called the ATx and will be out in early March. I emailed General and they responded saying it would definitely be out in March but they were silent on sizes. I’m hoping we can get a C load range or even SL, as I don’t need an E. This tire will be on my short list and if they don’t make it in a C or SL I guess I’m just going with the Duratracs, oddly where I started.

    Update:
I ended up going with Falken Wildpeak AT3W in 265/75/16 SL. I’m waiting on new Ray 10s to get here so I can mount them up. Like so many other very helpful people in this thread stated, they are much more aggressive in person than in pictures. I’m happy and the price was right thanks to @Discount Tire Direct .

Do we have a comprehensive list somewhere of actual tire diameteres between models and sizes? Are any of the 265s getting to 32"?

Hey D.T., do you have a list of which "All Terrain" tires come in this size (265/75 16)

    With the following...

    a) "C" Load tires
    b) 3 peak winter snowflake
    c) Side wall protection

I don’t think we have a comprehensive list but that would be great. I think someone asked for that before but because of time constraints I haven’t been able to do it. Are you volunteering? LOL. :)

265/75/16 wildpeaks dial in at 31.8, most tires that size are pretty close to a 32

There is not a list of the actual dimensions but on Discount Tire Direct but if you search by size it will show you all the 265/75R-16 tires. If you then click on a tire it will show the size and weight the manufacturer provided.

265/75R-16 Tires | Discount tire Direct

We don't have a list of all of these items but you can narrow down the tire search by selecting Tire Catagory and choosing All-Terrain and then select Load Range and select C1. Unfortunately there is ,not a dropdown for sidewall protection or 3-peak snowflake designation at this time. I will pass along your suggestions.

Please shoot us a PM if we can help

I settled on 265/75/16 Duratracs, (C load) and absolutely love 'em.

Thanks. I have had Wildpeaks sitting in my garage right beside new Rays waiting to be mounted for several months but have been working through issues with my truck.

Well, the C's are nearly as heavy as the E rated KO2s for one thing.
