Hey guys I need your help....I'm getting the toytec ultimate lift kit with light racing uca's.....I'm going to keep my stock rims since I got them powdercoated......what size tire will be good I was thinking either 275-75-R16 or 275-70-R16. Or will I be able to fit 285-75-R16.....I have right now 265-70-R16

285/75/16 might and probably will rub and you will have to do some trimming/cutting. The 275/70 are going to be a little shorter but a little wider, just a bit. The 275/75's sound like the best bet to me if you don't want cut up your truck. Try the search button on the top to see some pictures of different setups and see what you like.

285/75/16 will be fine! I just had to trim verry verry little, I know some guys that didnt have to do any. But you do plan on setting them to 3"s of lift, right?

oh, and your stock wheels actually might make you have more rubbing with the 285's, not sure with the new UCA's though.

You may had to do little trimming and know people that have had to do none but the majority is that there is definitely going to be some cutting going on. For some it's not a problem and they don't mind and if you don't then go for it.

Yep, But his stock wheels will/might make it worse bc of the BackSpacing. But the new UCA's might help some. He's just ganna have to try it out.

Yeah, you're right good point with the stock rims it's more likely to rub. Also, I'm not completely sure but I think with the LR UCA's you can move the spindle forward.

Honestly, and I might get flamed for this but BFG's quality has gone down a lot as of late. They definitely aren't worth the money. I work at a tire shop so if somebody comes in here and starts defending BFG and saying they have XX,XXX miles on theirs then they are the exception, not the norm. There are plenty of other tires that are cheaper, better and will out perform the BFG's in every way.
