So here is the deal. So with my stock tires pretty much gone and after much consideration I decided to lift my truck 3". I have a 6 year old and am on a limited budget so I am going to try and find a tire that will fill the well on the stock rim. I am looking for an AT because the only offroading I do is driving out on the beach for fishing. I was told that the more aggressive tire will dig in too much. I would appreciate any opinion you guys will have

Love my Dueler Revos. Got 70k outta them. Work great in sand and mud. Awesome in the rain. I pull alot of people of the beach when they get stuck and have no problems with that tire.

Sand driving is more about airing down and steady driving. Yes, aggressive tires will burrow your ass to China where they were probably made if you're aggressive on the throttle. That's what they were made to do.

Air down, put it in 2nd or 3rd to keep wheel spin down and easy on the skinny pedal and an MT will act like a godddamn tank tread and pull you over anything including sand.

Either way, lots of people like the Revo. I've only run the BFG A/Ts and Michelin LTX M/S which I don't consider an A/T, along with my current MTZs.

Really, find something you like the options for A/Ts are endless.

I'm rockin' the Hankook A/Ts and their great on and off road...especially in the sand! I recommend them...plus they have a 50k Tread Warranty!
