I am looking to get new tires. I have pretty much settled on the Cooper AT3. I have some questions about what y'all would do as far as service description and load rating. Overall I want the best road performance that i can possibly get from these tires. I don't off road and don't haul. Occasionally go to the dump with full bed for DIY projects. I did just install front Bilstein 5100 at the 1.75" seeing to level my truck. My choices are:

    265/75R16 - 116T with no load rating

    265/75R16 - 112R load C

    265/75R16 - 123R load E

Or I could do Cooper ATP from America Tire, which are very similar in:

    265 /75 R16 116T load SL

    LT265 /75 R16 123R load E1

What tires should I get? What are the benefits, if any, for going to a different load rating in my situation. Is it worth the money?

    Thanks for your input.

Go with the middle one, the 112r. No need for the 123s or 10 ply on a Tacoma especially on the road

Will that be a better ride than the non rated one? $20 difference per tire!

The 116 "standard load" is fine for your truck. It's still over 2,000 pounds per tire, so unless you plan on loading your truck to double the GVWR, you're good.

According to Cooper's website, the standard load has a max rating of 2756lbs, while the C load has a max rating of 2470lbs. The standard load will give you a much smoother on and off road ride, save you money on purchase price, and save you a few percent on your MPGs due to the lighter tire.
