    Hi,

I've just started shopping around for tires in the Bay area. I want to fit 255/85r16. Anyone got recommendations for shops?

    Thanks in advance!

+ 1 for america's tires, I like that they do lifetime tire balancing for free.

I got my Maxxis Bighorn 255/85/R16's ordered and mounted at Redwood General, and they said they were usually willing to match internet prices. Happy with alignment and tires from them. (I'm less happy with some other wrenching they did.)

I've also had good experiences on my old car at the America's Tire in Mountain View.

+1 for America’s Tire in Mountain View. Went there today and ordered some Cooper ST Maxx’s 255/85r16 and they matched the lowest internet price I found.

Can you let me know what that was? Those are literally the same exact tires in the same size from the same location of americas tire that I was looking to purchase from.

When I went in I found them on jet.com for $200/ea when you buy 3. I just tried to search again and they’re at $220/ea now. Unfortunately I didn’t do a screenshot of it.
