So currently my truck is completely stock... my tire size is 245/75/r16. Question 1: I first want to get new wheels then later replace the tires, are there any cons of replacing them at different times? Question 2: I plan on getting 265/75/r16 tires down the road... will that fit the new 16" wheels I plan on first replacing (I've seen talk of grinding down the wheel??) Im new to this and just want to put the biggest tire on my truck without a lift

Don’t sweat the 265s. No problems here, with and without spacers.

Weird your truck came with 245s as stock. I've only ever seen 265s as stock.
