    Not sure if this is what you want but I have an 88 bronco with 8" wide wheels and i have 33x12.5s on her, on the stock taco sport wheels widest I've seen is 285/75s. I'm pretty sure you can go wider but I have yet to see it. Not sure about 16s though.
