I just bought a Tacoma trd OR 4 x 4.. I want to swap out the stock rims and tires for the 17 inch 4 runner black rims with cooler at3 265/70/17 the guy at the tire dealership said there is potential to rub with this size..does anyone have experience with that size tire and swapping out the stock rims?

May rub on the mud flaps and wheel well if you fully articulate it off road.

What’s the biggest size that won’t rub in your experience?

4runner 17's with 265/70R17 will typically rub on the mud flaps.

You have a lot of threads, maybe do some homework and come back.

Just did this on Friday with my new TRD ORDC. Rubbed on the mud flaps but clear everywhere else. These are Falken WildPeaks

Remove the mud flaps and you should have no issues.

I'll buy your mudflaps if you really want them gone. Send a PM.

Sold them for $1200 CAD without the TPMS Sensors. I might have been able to get a bit more but didn't want to mess around too much. It's getting cold here in Canada and I wasn't sure what the market for the Goodyear Wranglers would be with winter approaching.

My tires are 265/70-17....Eibach kit going on shortly. Just waiting for it to arrive.

That’s a good price to get for the stock rims and tires how many miles you have on the tires when you sold it?

I got just over 100 miles now on the tires don’t know if I should sell the rims and tires now or what till I get the first tire change And just sell the rims then since there already considered used now... I don’t know how much of a difference it’s gonna be if I sell them now

With the offset of the 4 runner wheels I doubt they rub. If anything it’ll be on the mudflaps and easy to solve by removing them.

Don't expect that here. $600-800, market is saturated with take offs.
