Any one dealt with the following companies?

Looking for some 265/70 16 Cooper at3 4s. I found some at Can Tire but the won't mount them on my SR5 because of the size difference from the 245's. ??? And they're pricey at CT.

 

I dealt with Partsengine.ca they had the lowest prices but the service was sucky. They showed 4 tires in stock but then they were on backorder and offered a replacement to a different brand.
So I asked TireDirect if they'd match the prices, which they did, and I bought from them instead.

 

Thanks for the info. The BBB has alot of the same complaint about Partsengine. Checked out TireDirect but they don't carry Cooper.

Shipping costs are good and there’s always site wide discounts. I got Michelin Agilis for my 1 ton a couple hundred bucks cheaper than they’d be at Costco. Even with shipping factored in.

don’t deal with CT for tires. Especially with f they wouldn’t put a stock size option in your truck.

most people upgrade to a 265/75r16. It’ll be a bit taller and work great on the tacoma.

 

I've used canadawheels and tiresdirect in the past. They've been fine.

But my local tire guy always has prices that match the online places and better than CT and Costco.

Just send an email to every tire place near you, big and small, looking for a quote. You'll get a range of prices but I'll bet you'll find someone with pricing close to online. Then there's no worrying about (slow) shipping. You'll need a tire shop to install anyway.

I had four new tires installed less than 24 hours after reaching out for quotes.
