Indeed Toyota-made TRD wheels come in various offset values: https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/wheel-specs.30754/
And I do not honestly understand why.
I would have guess that no matter how wide the rim is (6", 7.5"), the offset would have been the same since it's measured from the center of the rim, but it's not the case: according to the link above, offset values change with rim width on Toyota-made rims. I do no know why. BTW I assume but can't double check that these values are accurate either.

    Anyone knows?

Discount Tires (Purple logo/signs) does alignments, not Americas Tires (Red logo/signs). Don't know how long Discount tires has been doing it but they have the lifetime alignment for around $180 for as long as you own the vehicle, and if the vehicle is lowered or raised, then you pay another $80 to keep the lifetime deal. Sounds promising for 4x4 trucks, since alignments may be needed after off-roading. But take it in a few times, and the excuses start coming as to why they can't get the alignment done properly.

My miscommunication... business in my area is "Discount Tire Center" (purple logo/signs). You are correct, Discount/America's Tire (red logo/signs)are located here too, and they only to tires, no alignment.

Well, I'm stuck with my 265/70/17 K02 tires and TRD Pro rims(great set up), after reading hundreds of people claiming they don't rub).
Lets just say, when turning, it does not take much of a bump to rub!

So now I'm debating on the $89 spacers (probably get dealership to install???), or $1800 suspension lift. I really don't want to fork out more money into this truck. I'm also still dealing with a slight shimmy the dealership can't seem to get rid of re-balancing.

For those who run the 1.25" spidertrax, do you need to get alignment done when adding them?

I reluctantly put 1 1/4" spidertrax on my gen1 tundra to clear tacoma rims for my winter tires. Use red loctite generously, and recheck after a few hundred km. My rears were a few ft/lb loose, front was fine.
Having said all that, there has been no ill effects from the install and i frequently have over 1000# of sled, deck and gear for long distances. Just dont like worrying about the extra set of nuts that "could" come loose...

I just checked the torque on mine after 2000 miles. None of the nuts budged

I don't have them, but I'd imagine you would want to run more toe in.

I recommend the rest of the videos by Engineering Explained in the above link, if you're into that stuff.

Where's the best place to get a set of 4 1.25" spidertrax spacers? Im seeing $99US for a pair of 2. I assume most do all 4 tires?

It's possibly because the 17" Sema TRD wheel was specifically designed for the 4Runner and the 16" TRD wheels was designed for the FJ and Tacoma. Different platforms with different stances, geometry ect. Just because they all have the same lug pattern doesn't necessarily mean all wheels should be designed equally.

I was told they were designed with a range of offset. so I think if you don't overdo it, I think you will be fine. I am installing a Falcon Suspension this weekend, did a lot of research with them to see about trimming the rear shock bucket. I didnt want to do trimming, so I looked into aftermarket wheels and also wheel spacers. I have decided to go with a spacer. I think whomever said that the bearing are designed for a certain offset is right, but I do think designers take into account a range for the design. I am going to use the spidertrax spacer, make sure they are torqued and go from there.
