Thanks everyone for the support. I AM still shaky and yes indeed, God was the first one I thanked after I was saying "Oh God! No, not now!! Please not now!!!"

What happened was I was merging using a rounded clover leaf on ramp. The merge area is very short and there was another car approaching at the same time I was merging. I slowed down and the other car did too. And because the merge was so short, and at this point I'm at 30mph, I decided to go faster because there was another car approaching quickly behind the car that slowed. It's raining.

Once I hit the pavement of the actual freeway, I started to lose the rear and slide toward the center divide. The truck started beeping. The car that was fast approaching behind the slow car went around and almost hit me. I tried to turn the wheels so to get out of HIS way and the truck started to beep again. I tried to correct it because now I'm seeing ANOTHER car coming toward me (this is where I'm talking to God) and I think I over corrected because I ended up on two wheels for a second. I didn't realize it until I heard the "bam" and realized the grinding was my tires. I ended up back on all fours and was able to straighten the truck out from there.

No money, all went to truck...
Haha, no one made a joke that probably we're all thinking....

You better treat your truck to a wash, wax, and a tank of premium after that....

I know the feeling well. Just over a month ago, I completely misjudged the road conditions on my way to work, what I thought was dry pavement under a dusting of dry, blowing snow was actually sheer black ice. A 180 at highway speeds with oncoming vehicles and more behind isn't something I ever want to repeat, even though all ended well. I'm sure you can agree. Life is worth slowing down for. My deep thought for the day.;)
