I'm glad you're giving that tire a second life! Be sure to show it some cool trails from it's vantage point below your bed.

It definitely needs to see more and stay right where it's at.

Having to spice wires is what's been keeping me from installing my rear seat dual USB kit. I'm interested to see your setup.

I have not done the rear yet. I plan to get that with the new PnP AC Outlet harness and will use only the AC power or USB power separately.

For the front. It is non-keyed power from the unused-for-now trailer brake connector. @daveeasa got me a PnP connector with a nice power lead pigtail. I installed a switch under the dash at the bottom lip of the knee airbag panel. The outlet replaces the old 2.1A one that I had in the leftmost LSP position. It had a couple blue LEDs that didn't really bother me when driving, but they were always on. So, the switch mod has been on my mind for a while.

The new USB outlet that I got has higher power with VM display, but is not as well made as the previous one from the same vendor. Also while the outer charge lighting is a nice feature, it is not something that I would want On all the time.

I'm not sure how that can supply 6.4A total? Hahaha! I only ever use one at a time though.

I have one of those in a box waiting on my LSP-8 as well. Gotta figure out how to kill the ring light. Super cheesy.

It isn't bad at all with a switch. It would be horrible without one though.

It was just noted, so you are basically the first. What I have been told is that since support is now possible, vF will make some.

I will post any updates because it is important, esp as the Toyota TSBs for the 3.5l have addressed some shifting issues. The 2.7l folks have been shafted so far.

    Dang.

I am a bit behind in this thread. Posted a few elsewhere. I will organize these.

My daughters have appreciated this already and may come in handy with the Milfuckees and drone:

A little cleaning up with a bit of new tank skid showing:

A little maker action, but I just saw the Baofeng X5 Plus. We'll see where that goes.

And, no pics, but @msgs350 threw his tank skid in my direction that I installed after the very reasonably priced tank straps:

@Bertw192 had his take off waiting in the wings also. I thought about doubling them up. :D

Oops! The tank skid is up there in the brake drum pic.

Very nice! Am I the only one who hasn't posted a build thread yet? :D

    Thanks!

I was gonna mention an upcoming hood swap but held back.

You should, and include some details about that sweet Jeep also.

Haha. I'm still waiting on parts for my truck and wheels for the Jeep. Once those are on, then maybe. Already looking at another new toy to mess around with.

It is my wife's Pfaff that we have had for decades. I can never remember how to thread it, but it does punch through thicker materials nicely.

    Oops! Covered this above!

I'm content, dammit! The mods keep coming.

Created a Baofeng mount mainly to have a place to clip the mic. It seems to work well. The printed mount is attached to a RAM Ball Plate.

Oops! I covered this above, but I suppose it is worth adding the road trip blurb?

@kmorgan3 's 400w PnP harness sold by @GuildOutfitters with a dual A/C / USB outlet for the rear seats. The harness was a piece of cake and the outlet too just a bit of installation time.

It had great test on a recent road trip and worked flawlessly for days.

I need to get some pics, but thanks to @shaggy135 for the hood swap. The fam and I are enjoying it.
