    Interesting
My guess is since, when Buell went out of business and you could get new ones at dealerships for next to nothing, it probably drove the price of used ones down.
How far is it from you? If it's not too far can't hurt to go check it out atleast.

for the miles and year, that seems about right. as long as it hasn't been laid down might as well look into it

Really? Sexy? Well I guess if that floats your boat but I always thought the CR version was much better looking....

Yeah that isn't a good sign. But maybe the guy is just a little strange and wanted something unique. I mean he has to be a little off his rocker to buy a buell in the first place.

really? Maybe it's the color difference throwing me off. As I said, I know little to nothing about street bikes. :(

if this is your first bike, i'd wouldn't go with a 1000+CC bike. But that is just my opinion.

Decent price. But I'm like most of the other guys. Repainting usually has some kind of reason attached thats not usually purely cosmetic taste. Kind of high mileage, not that its hurt or anything. Its just that its not that hard to find bikes with 1000 to 2500 miles on them. The thunderstorm you found seems like it could be a better deal depending on the year. Ive bought two bikes in the past 4 years. My advice is to not get in a hurry and never pay over trade in value. People need to get rid of these things and if you'll be patient you can find a great deal. My R6 is a 2005 and had 1800 miles on it when I got it. My 05 gsxr 600 had 473 miles on it when I bought it in 2007. Good luck, and keep the rubber down.

having ridden several of my friends liter bikes, i also agree something smaller would be not only safer but more fun to ride starting out. more user friendly you might say.:)

id say eff the buells. the r6 would be a better bet IMO. then again if youre a new street rider think about a ninja 650r or somethin a little more tame. i bought a GSXR600 for my first street bike but i had a bit of seat time on numerous street machines over the years. dont get on a bike thats over your head. and always gear up
