Took truck to dealer to check on Engine noise...

    - - - That would be o.k. , if not for Toyota dealers having the telemetry/diagnosis ability via the onboard diagnostics to see that the truck was rev'd until it blew, thereby voiding the warranty ... so , that might not be good advice to follow. :(

    Dog friendly, with dog snot on inside windows, with of course a/c! Mag 16 inch wheels from a Mazda.
    What about pulling the ECU fuse after it blew?

    Only thing "normal" about this is that the dealer saying it is normal to bullshit people. That 12 mile truck is the one they keep around to sell the "normalness" because they can't sell it making that noise. They can shove that "normal" up their ass.

    I had a 2013 taco i traded in for this, my dad has a 2015 taco. they dont make this noise.

    theyre not going to give me that BS

    aires 3D mats, scan gauge II, rear differential breather relocation, and bakflip G2 bed cover.
    It's the exhaust manifold gasket leaking a tiny bit. The reason you don't hear it when it warms up is because of expansion. The exhaust manifold needs retorqing.
