I just bought a Kobalt slim compact box ... its 12" wide opposed to the std 19-22" that are on full size boxes. do a search and you'll find some pics....I'll post some tomorrow.

I have a Black WeatherGuard Box. It's full-size and came with the truck when I bought it. Works awesome. I got rid of the behind the seat space with my subs so it acts as my trunk. So much space its ridiculous. It does kill the bed since it's a short bed, but for what I do it is great. The small box may be cool and low profile, but you will always find stuff that won't fit. Everything fits in mine.

 Here's my Kobalt compact slim I just bought, and while I like the black box posted above, the Kobalt was only $148 at Lowes. Much cheaper than the $400! I really like that its only 12" wide which holds my straps, jumper cables, and some tools and that I can't even seen it from the rear view window!

UWS 42" Chest is a perfect fit between the wheel wells.

Do you still have this toolbox?

Is it serving you well and do you STILL like it?

I have a 13 and am looking for a good one that will last along with taking up too much space. Do you run into having to little space because of the box?
