Tool box for truck bed

When the lid is open does it project wider than the cab at the top ?

I'm wondering if it would open with a cap on .

 

Do you have a part number for the weather guard you went with, and maybe a picture or two? Does it sit flush with the floor?

 

DizzyZ did you use washers or some type of bracket under the wheel wells when mounting that box? I'm looking at this option for my new Tacoma.url=http://www.tacomaworld.com/gallery/showphoto.php/photo/422891/cat/500][/url]

 

I have a 1998 Tacoma, I think that this tool box don't fit in the bed, What year is your Tacoma truck?
