 So I was driving down the road today and I see this black something out of my passengerside window. I pull over immediately when my brother yelled your truck fell apart. I looks and it was the roof rack mount cover on the right side flipped up and was flopping in the wind. Never heard of this have you guys. I pushed it back in and didnt have any more problems so far. What do you think?

Uhhhhh??? I guess it came loose. But the top of your cab did not come off???? the black strip that covers the ridge where your roof rack would mount came loose. I am sure you will be fine. I would not loose any sleep over it.

    And I agree with Luni.....

Same thing happened to me. Twice. First time it came right off without me noticing. My truck was only a few months old and the Toyota dealer replaced it for free. Second time I noticed the other side was loose and I just pushed it back in with a single finger. No problems since.

Have you been brushing all the snow off the roof that we have been having? I just wonder if the hot/cold cycles and snow helped get it up a little (that did not type out quite right.....) and then the wind finished it off.......

Funny pic of the convertable pup. I expected that or you were smoking and farting in the cab.

It happened to my '06 Camry on I-95  while I was going about 70 mph. It sounded like a wood pecker was tapping on the car as the piece flapped in the wind. I snapped it back in and good as new. That was about 4 years ago.
